This is the final week for this forum discussion. I understand how the flipped classroom works, but this video has given me a much better sense of what a flipped classroom can look like. It’s based on a math class, but it could be adapted to most courses, I think? I’m not too sure how much learning is taking place during this “flex time”, but students are able to work at their own level and will become more responsible for their learning. For some students this will work well. I’m not too sure how the students taking the math course that would still rather be somewhere else will survive in this chaos? I keep wondering whether some students will get further behind or will the flipped classroom provide them with more instructor help?
