I’ve learned a lot about what the “gogies” are from this forum and unfortunately this forum is ending this weekend. We had quite a few different gogies enter into our discussion forums and here’s a brief summary of the gogies.
Peeragogy– emphasizes peer-to-peer learning
Metagogy– straddles the domains of pedagogy and andragogy, seeing the instructor as a potentiator
Cybergogy– facilitating and enabling virtual learner-centered learning
Techno-heutagogy– science and art of technological environments for learner centered learning
Geragogy– for the needs of older adults
Blogogy– the use of blogs in education
